How It All Began, Why We’re Here

We are the MacMillans, Jen and Adam, a husband and wife team with over 30 years of combined experience in business, marketing, and operations. Together, we’ve built start-ups from the ground up and scaled them into multi-million-dollar companies. Operating across Brisbane, Sydney, and Melbourne, we’ve lived the full business journey, from early growth and expansion to national scale, and to an eventual multi-million dollar exit.

We’ve walked the path; built brands from scratch, created logos, visual identities, launched social media channels, built custom CRM’s, created SOP’s and systems that actually work. We made our first full time hire, and grew that to a team of over 80 staff across Australia. We started with spreadhseets to manage our first jobs, and later, entire HR systems, hiring processes, and fully immerseive sales funnels that drove growth. From marketing automation to team management and operations, we’ve meticulously built every system from the ground up, knowing that it’s the smallest details that make the biggest impact.

From starting in our garage to operating across three cities and businesses, we’ve partnered with brands like Coach, Telstra, the AFL, and Qantas, learning what it really takes to perform at every level.

Everything we’ve achieved, we’ve done as a team. Now, we’re ready to bring that same energy, experience, and clarity to help other founders build businesses that truly work.

Meet Adam.

A dual tradesman with a degree in accounting, Adam brings a rare mix of hands-on grit and strategic know-how. He’s as comfortable on the tools as he is in the spreadsheets — and that balance shows in how he helps businesses grow.

Hardworking, grounded, and practical, Adam thrives on solving problems and building structure where others see chaos. With over 15 years across business finance, operations, and marketing, he’s built, scaled, and sold multiple companies — always with a focus on making business simple, profitable, and human.

Adam helps owners cut through the noise, build strong systems, and create businesses that run smoother — and smarter.

With a background in marketing, event management and operations, Jen brings drive, direction, and an unshakable standard to everything she touches. Known for her quick thinking and relentless energy, she leads with both precision and purpose — keeping teams moving, clients calm, and big ideas on track.

Her years running large-scale events built her reputation for detail, speed, and results. Jen doesn’t just manage operations — she moves them forward, turning structure into momentum and plans into performance.

Direct, determined, and fiercely committed, Jen has a way of lifting everyone around her — proving that strong systems and strong leadership can build something extraordinary.
